Seasalt Cottage is the perfect base to explore the delights of the Isle of Wight.
The stunning cottage is the perfect haven to return to after a day relaxing on the beach or exploring the island.
Seasalt Cottage has been completely refurbished at the start of 2017 to a very high standard.
From thoughtfully selected furniture & pictures, to the cool, muted decor, we have lovingly gone to great lengths to create a home that is relaxing, cosy and tranquil.
EXPLORE THE COTTAGE
The cottage is set within a small gated mews courtyard which is quiet and secure. It's a stone's throw from the bustling high street with it's restaurants, cafes and independent shops. And just a 5 min walk to the lovely beach. With 2 lovely bedrooms, a cosy living room, bright kitchen and charming courtyard, it makes a relaxing retreat after a day out enjoying Ventnor and the island.
With 400 thread egyptian cotton linen, luxurious towels, a Smart TV, board games and fast broadband, you have everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
With thoughtfully chosen bespoke furniture and muted, relaxing decor, you'll feel feel like you're on holiday the moment you walk through the door.
On the ground floor there is the newly refurbished kitchen with breakfast bar overlooking the main mews courtyard. The perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay including a dishwasher, microwave, Dualit appliances, and full range of high quality kitchen accessories.
Also on the ground floor is the handy WC and the cosy living room with dining table for 4 which leads onto the private courtyard. The courtyard has seating for 4 and you can enjoy the sunshine over breakfast and evening drinks.
With board games, a DVD player (with selection of DVD's) and a smart TV, you'll have plenty to entertain you if the weather isn't behaving itself! There are also nets, buckets & spades and 2 body boards in the storage shed in the courtyard that you are welcome to use.
Then on past the relaxing hallway and up the stairs, there is the master bedroom with kingsize bed, relaxing window seat and ample storage. The scandinavian-inspired decor with it's blush pink and grey tones and rustic oars, create a space that is calming and peaceful. With gorgeous 400 thread count egyptian cotton bedding, you'll be able to get a good night's sleep after your days exploring the island.
Then there is the twin room which has 2 single beds and a chest of drawers. With coastal inspired teal and grey decor, egyptian cotton bedding and good supply of books, this room is sure to relax and inspire.
The bathroom has been completely refurbished, it features a rain shower, a Victorian-style bath and calming grey tiling.
Children of all ages are most welcome, as well as one well-behaved dog (ours is a little spaniel called Betsy!) We have a travel cot, high-chair, stairgate, board games and doggy bowls & bed to save you space in
your car.
You can drive onto the courtyard to unload your car, then park in the car park a 2 min walk away (4, 7 and 14 day permits available). So if you wish, you can park your car and enjoy being car-free for your stay. Everything you need is within walking distance from the cottage.
You will receive a welcome pack via email before arrival, giving details of directions, access and anything you may need to book before your stay such as popular restaurants and salons.
